Curious Minds at Work
Students explored levers and gears through the Ball Launcher activity, understanding force, motion and mechanical advantage through hands-on learning.
The Centre of Mass activity involved load testing different shapes, helping students understand how weight distribution and balance affect the stability and strength of structures.
Through Engineering Shapes, students built bridges and learned how different shapes improve strength and stability.
Students explored Human Anatomy by building models of the human arm and lungs, developing an understanding of how muscles, joints and the respiratory system work through engaging hands-on activities.
The Ideation and Prototyping activity used Mechanics Kits and pulleys to encourage creativity, problem-solving and engineering skills.
The month concluded with engaging STEAM activities that strengthened creativity, teamwork, and practical understanding of real-world concepts.
