Vidya Vikas Academy commemorated Goa’s spirit of freedom on 18 June, 2026 by paying tribute to the martyrs of Goa’s freedom struggle. The programme aimed to instill a sense of patriotism among students, create awareness about Goa’s unique journey towards liberation, and encourage them to value the freedom they enjoy today.

The significance of the day was highlighted through meaningful presentations, including a poem recitation, patriotic song, and a monologue portraying the contribution of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia to Goa’s freedom movement. These provided students with an opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices made during the struggle for liberation.

The initiative encouraged students to uphold the values of courage, unity, patriotism, and civic responsibility in their daily lives.
