Botanical Descripion:
It can reach 15–30 metres (49–98 feet) in height and has attractive rounded crowns and thick furrowed bark. The compound leaves have toothed leaflets and are typically evergreen but do drop during periods of extreme drought. The small fragrant white flowers  are borne in clusters in the axils of the leaves. The fruit is a smooth yellow-green drupe and has a sweet-flavoured pulp.

Propagation: Seeds, cuttings, root suckers.

Medicinal uses: Eye disorders, bloody nose, intestinal worms, stomach upset, loss of appetite, skin ulcers, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, gingivitis, and liver problems, acne, fungal infections, warts, or moles.

How is it used?: Undiluted neem oil is applied on affected areas of the skin. 20 Neem leaves are boiled with ½ litre of water till it becomes around 200ml and then drunk. Neem powder is used.
