Botanical Descripion:
This grass grows in dense clumps that can grow to 6 feet in height and about 4 feet in width. Leaves are strap like, 3 feet long, 1.3 to 2.5 cm wide, and have gracefully drooping tips. The fragrant leaves are the parts that are used as flavouring.

Propagation: Seeds by splitting the clumps.

Medicinal uses: Digestion, high blood pressure, metabolism, burns fats, hair, skin, cold and flu.

How is it used?:
Boiling leaves and stem along with water makes a good healthy tea.
